Called in for drinks and snacks during a very sunny May visit. We had a pushchair, as we had our 5 month old with us. The kind male member of staff helped us to a lovely solo table just outside of the restaurant, which gave us plenty of space and didn’t infringe on the other guests. The staff were all friendly, food was well presented and tasty and the view of the river to the rear very nice too. Worth a visit.

...............................EDIT.................................We had lunch here on 9th May, food was excellent with a very good menu. Food is well proportioned and good value. Good to see a menu not just selling traditional pub food. Eating outside in the sunshine next to the water is very nice. If you want to eat here on a weekend, especially if sunny I recommend making a reservation as it gets busy. ........................... On our recent holiday in Pooley Bridge we had lunch and drinks in here on 2 days. Food was very tasty and well presented. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Beer garden at the rear facing on to the river is dog friendly. Highly recommended.
